THE WEAPON OF PRAISE
DAILY DEVOTION
Today’s Bible Reading: Joshua 3 – 6
THE WEAPON OF PRAISE
Joshua 6:20 (KJV): So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
What brought down the walls of Jericho? It was a sound that translated into the spiritual realm as a weapon of war. This was no ordinary sound—it was the sound of praise.
Notably, the children of Israel made this sound before the walls fell.
What can we learn from this?
Many Christians know how to celebrate and rejoice after the walls have come down, but through the experience of Israel, God teaches us to praise Him before the walls fall.
This should be the mindset of every child of God. You must learn to praise God in anticipation of victory. Before the sickness leaves your body, dance and rejoice as though you are already healed.
Before you receive the job offer, praise the Lord like the appointment letter is already in your hands.
No wall in your life can withstand the sound of your praises to God. Hallelujah!

⭐HIGHLIGHT: No wall in your life can withstand the sound of your praises to God
🙌PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Your Word reminds me that every light affliction is but for a moment and cannot compare to the eternal glory that follows. I choose to focus on that glory. I will praise You in every storm and rejoice in every trial, knowing that You are ever faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
