While some use it to deny the existence of God, others build doctrines around it that deviate from His truth.

At times, two believers may pray for the same outcome; one receives an answer, while the other does not. Does this make God unfair? Does He favor one person over another?

The answer is a resounding no. The issue often lies in a misunderstanding of the realm of prayer and how it truly functions.

Prayer is not a formula.

One of the dangers of praying strictly by ‘method’ is that it undermines the leading of the Holy Spirit, who is given to help us. He may desire to lead you to pray in one manner, yet you remain fixed on a learned pattern.

This rigidity often causes believers to miss answers—not because God is unwilling, but because they have not yielded their spirits to the One who knows exactly what and how to pray.

If your mind is fixed on the mechanics of prayer, learn to yield more, surrender. Allow the Holy Spirit to take charge; only He possesses the wisdom and power to align your prayers with God’s will and lead you onto the pathway of answered prayer. You are a loving and compassionate Master. The Bible says that You hear us when we pray and because You do, we have the petitions we ask of You. With this confidence, I yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer. He stirs me to pray, guides me in the places I should speak and in those I should remain silent before You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 250/365
Watch TIS https://bit.ly/tis-videos
#TISDevotion

DAILY DEVOTION Romans 8:26 (KJV):“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” The question of unanswered prayer weighs heavily on the minds of many believers.
