In His wisdom, God unveils His purposes progressively, dealing with men according to His divine order and the dispensation in which they stand.

Consider Moses. He was instructed to build the tabernacle according to the pattern he had seen in heaven (Exodus 25:40). Moses obeyed faithfully, and God honored that tabernacle with His presence.

Later, Paul declares that “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands” (Acts 17:24). Still further, John the Revelator shows us that in the heavenly city there is no temple at all, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple (Revelation 21:22).

Does this mean Moses had a wrong vision? Not at all. What Moses received was true, holy, and perfectly aligned with God’s purpose for his time. But as God’s redemptive plan unfolded, He revealed more of the fullness of His eternal thought. The issue, then, is not error in Moses, but progression in revelation according to divine purpose.

This is where our theme Scripture becomes especially important. A surrendered heart does not weaponize one stage of revelation against another. It understands that God spoke truly through Moses, and also unveiled further light through Paul. Therefore, it would be wrong for the followers of Paul to fight those of Moses as though God had contradicted Himself.

Wisdom requires that we discern the dispensational flow of God’s revelation, honoring what He gave in its time while embracing what He has made clearer in Christ. A yielded heart sees rightly because it discerns God’s ways within their proper dispensation, rather than isolating one expression of truth from the larger unfolding of His purpose.

💡KNOW MORE: 1 Corinthians 13:9; Matthew 5:8

⭐HIGHLIGHT: A yielded heart sees rightly because it discerns God’s ways within their proper dispensation, rather than isolating one expression of truth from the larger unfolding of His purpose.

🙌PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word.
