We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!<\/p>\n<p>What does it mean to be free?<\/p>\n<p>From our theme scripture, the children of Israel interpreted freedom as the life they led in Egypt when they ate cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic.<\/p>\n<p>They were willing to return to captivity as long as they could have these foods.<\/p>\n<p>What deception!<\/p>\n<p>You would rather eat manna when you are free than melons when you are bound because true freedom comes with the availability of manna.<\/p>\n<p>Manna here represents the Word of God.<\/p>\n<p>What does this mean?<\/p>\n<p>You are better off coming to church even when you have no job than having a job that keeps you away from the presence of God.<\/p>\n<p>You would rather seek God when you have no money in your pocket than abandoning the Church because you acquired some wealth.<\/p>\n<p>It is much better to keep in the Word without a spouse than have a spouse who keeps you out of the Word.<\/p>\n<p>Manna is much more important than any of the material things that many define as freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Value revelation above wealth. Value revelation above any material things.<\/p>\n<p>Revelation is the source of true freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udca1<strong>KNOW MORE:<\/strong> John 8:36, John 8:32<\/p>\n<p>\u2b50<strong>HIGHLIGHT:<\/strong> Value revelation above wealth. Value revelation above any material things. Revelation is the source of true freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude4c<strong>PRAYER:<\/strong> Father, thank you for this Word. I thank you because these are the days of knowledge and in this knowledge, we find freedom. I accord the Word the honour and respect that it deserves. Because you have exalted it above your very name, I exalt it above anything that I know. In this wisdom, I walk and live as a free person, with the very freedom that Christ has given me.
