PRAYER AND MEDITATION
DAILY DEVOTION
Today’s Bible Reading: Judges 1 – 3
Joshua 1:8 (KJV); This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
An effective prayer life is also a life of deliberate and consistent meditation.
Some erroneously assume that meditation is simply about closing one’s eyes and focusing on some object of interest.
Not so, child of God.
In fact, meditation is the deepest form of prayer.
In meditation, men create and thereby bring about the manifestation of the unseen things into the physical realm.
In meditation, the law of exchange is activated, and by this law, men are lifted up in the places where some are cast down (Job 22:29).
You cannot claim to be an effective praying person when you do not meditate on His Word.
Like speaking with God must be a lifestyle, meditation on the Word too must be a lifestyle.

🙌PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. The Bible says that blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord, who meditates on it, day and night. The blessings of a meditative life are my portion. Creation responds to me because of this truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
