BECAUSE THE LORD SPOKE
Deuteronomy 3:23-26 (KJV); And I besought the Lord at that time, saying, O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.
It is erroneous to assume that simply because God has spoken something then it shall automatically come to pass in your life.
I know of Christians over whom prophetic words have been spoken but these words have never come to pass.
Some have gotten bitter and despised any prophetic utterances and disqualified them as lies.
Take the life of Moses as an example. He was God’s chosen vessel to deliver the children of Israel from Egypt and take them to the promised land. Sadly, his hot temper got in the way. Because it did, Moses did not reach the promised land. In our theme scripture, he pleaded to be allowed to step there until God sternly told him not to even bother bringing up the matter again.
In the same way, God has spoken great things over us in the scriptures. Does everyone
get to live and walk in these realities? This is not often the case.
In Isaiah 1:19, the Bible says that If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. The good of the land was available, but God expected willingness and obedience from the people.
Sometimes, the spoken word is not enough. You must remember that there are principles and patterns that lead to the manifestation of these promises. Your diligent application of them is what makes them a physical reality.

🙌PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I know what You have spoken over my life and the countless promises You have made to me. I have received these promises and the wisdom of how to walk in their manifestation. I am willing and obedient. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
