PRINCIPLES OF HARVEST: THE FIRST FRUIT
Exodus 23:19 (KJV); The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
Harvests are governed by principles. It is not a matter of merely reaping what you have planted. These principles are vital because if you do not understand them, you may frustrate your yield in the next season of your harvest or attract the devourer who is bent on destroying the fruit of your harvest.
When God blesses you with an opportunity, the first fruit of that opportunity belongs to the Lord.
In doing so, you confirm to heaven that you trust the Lord of the harvest to bless you through the coming seasons. First fruit is your act of faith, testifying to the fact that during the next month, you will still have a job; that the next deal for your business is guaranteed.
When you give your first fruit, it is an acknowledgment to God that He is your source.
Your first fruit is your communication to the realm of spirits that what God has started, He will finish. If He started you in that ministry, He will finish it. If He started you in that job, He will finish it. If He started you in that business, He will finish it.

🙌PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the wisdom that preserves my harvests. The devourer is far from me. I am multiplied and increasing every day because abundance is the testimony of my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
