THE CURIOUS SPIRIT
Exodus 3:2-4 (KJV); And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
A true seeker of God understands the importance of having a divine sense of curiosity. This curiosity is the willingness to explore spiritual truths and to understand how the realm of God works.
When Moses saw the burning bush, the Bible says that he TURNED ASIDE TO SEE. When God saw that he had turned aside to see, He called out to him. I would like to think that if Moses had simply brushed off the phenomenon of a burning bush that is unconsumed and went on his merry way, he would have missed out on a fundamental milestone in his life. It is his curiosity that prompted God to call to him.
Divine curiosity is the reason why we take time to ponder and meditate on our spiritual experiences. You must understand that it is one thing to have a vision, it is another to receive all the instructions that you must get out of that vision.
Peter’s experience is quite instructive in this regard. In Acts 10:19, the Bible says that while Peter pondered on the vision that he had received, the Spirit of God spoke to him. If Peter was not curious, he simply would have dismissed the vision and continued with his day.
It is possible to have a spiritual experience and not benefit from it even though that experience was meant to transform your life. Never treat the experiences of the Spirit lightly. This is regardless of how simple it may appear to you: think about it, ask the right questions regarding it and seek to understand what God is telling you about it.

🙌PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank You for the experiences of the Spirit that You have made available for my sake. I receive not just the experience but the instructions in the experience and the revelation of Your purposes in the same, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
