Today’s Bible Reading: Genesis 40 – 41
IN ONE DAY
Genesis 41:38-40 (KJV): And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
God can change the life of a man in one day. He does not need weeks, months, or years to rewrite a story. In a single moment, the Lord can reverse decades of a person’s loss and pain.
Think about the story of Joseph very avidly. He had faced the worst side of betrayal, sold like a common slave by his brethren for the ‘crime’ of dreaming, and falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife, a man he had served diligently.
One moment he was a prisoner, and the next, the Bible says, “And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.” (Genesis 41:42-44). He had slept a prisoner and woke up a prime minister.
So, you may ask the question: Can He grow your ministry in one day? Can He greatly multiply your wealth in one minute? Can He elevate your status today?
He says in Isaiah 66:8, “Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
Yes, He can do it. Your part is to believe it!

May people ask me, ‘How did you do this in such a short time?’ May those around me wonder at how fast my story changed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
