HOSPITALITY
Genesis 18:2 NKJV [2] So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground,
Abraham had received a promise from God in Genesis 15. Even though the promise seemed far-fetched, Abraham believed (Romans 4:18). Yet one thing was still pending, the physical manifestation of that promise.
God is a God of principles, laws, and patterns. To receive His promises, there are principles that must be followed, and one of the principles revealed in our theme Scripture is hospitality.
The Bible says, “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (Hebrews 13:2). On this day, Abraham received our Lord Jesus Christ, who appeared to him in the form of an ordinary man.
God may approach you through anyone, so never judge people by outward appearance.
Think about the man who owned the manger where Jesus was born. If he had known who was entering his home that night, he would have offered them the best room. Consider also the other homes Joseph approached for lodging, only to be turned away.
God may appear to you through your house manager, gatekeeper, usher, security officer, or even a cleaning staff member. Never regard anyone by outward appearance. Always be hospitable to everyone, for you never know who you are welcoming.

🙌 PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for Your Word. My heart is open to be hospitable to all people, regardless of their status. Help me to treat everyone with respect and care, not based on their social standing but as those made in Your image. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
